Sizes and Framing
Prints are unframed. Print sizes will fit most standard sized frames or can be passe-partout. All prints have a white border around them to facilitate this.
Limited Edition Prints
All Prints are Signed by me, Limited Edition with a stated edition size.
Because the number of artworks produced in the edition is restricted, each individual work retains its status and value over time. As the remaining available number in the edition reduces, the price will tend to rise.
High Quality Photographic Prints, C-type or Giclée *
Photographs will be printed by digital C-type printing or Giclée ink-jet printing. We can discuss which you prefer when we talk. It’s a preference, price and quality thing.
The online visualizations are non-binding preview images. Please note that the toning on screen may differ from the printed version due to various technical reasons. Primarily, print is viewed under reflected light on paper, whereas screens display projected light, and results may vary depending on your viewing device.
C-type
With C-type printing a printing machine exposes light-sensitive photographic paper using a digitally controlled light source.
C-type prints are continuous tone, meaning they can produce subtle colour gradients, shadow detail and a conventional photographic feel.
C-type printed on high quality photographic Fujifilm Lustre paper, matched to this most sympathetic paper choice, and which has good archival quality and tends to produce vibrant colours.
Giclée
With Giclée ink-jet printing ink is sprayed directly onto a dry paper in a series of dots.
Giclée photographic prints can surpass what can be achieved with C-type in terms of colour gamut, which really helps if the image has strong saturated colours and can better represent black and white images. There is also a much wider range of papers from highly textured to uncoated and a variety of weights, that are not available for the C-type process. This process costs more.
Giclée printed on fineart acid-free paper to meet the highest industry lifespan requirements. Each print will be matched to the most sympathetic paper choice.

Archival Properties
It is said of the archival properties of C-Type’s, they are considered to typically last approx 40 years to 100 years. And of Giclée’s, they are considered to typically last approx 100 years to 200 years. Both, with care and not being exposed to direct sunlight, may last longer. So, for the small extra cost, it is worth paying for Giclée’s.
Mounting and Framing
Prints will normally be supplied as prints in a tube or appropriate protective packaging and you can arrange your own mounting and framing – this is recommended.
However, mounting and framing can be provided, archival standard (acid free, pH neutral) mounting £19-£25, archival standard mounting and framing with standard frames £49 to £59. Do please ask me to discuss your needs using the Ask me any questions you have…

Returns
Online Purchases. I always want you to be delighted with your artwork. If you have changed your mind and wish to return an online purchase from me, you have 14 days from the point of delivery to contact me to organise a return. I will ask you to arrange the packaging and postage for return. Returns must be received in excellent, unused, unmarked and undamaged condition.
